Fill out a short form with your basic info. If you received an invite link from a friend we will auto-text them to send you a code after you've completed registration. Enter the code and you're verified. (skip step 2 - video verification)
A Guardian welcomes you to RealHumans, checks your ID, and confirms you are a real human.
Use your encrypted Proof-of-Personhood (PoP) links to prove you are real anywhere on the web. Require PoP links from others to avoid fraud and stay safe online.
A 5-minute video call sounds quick because it is. Here is the actual minute-by-minute of what a Guardian verifier does and what you do.
Browser-based, no app to install. The Guardian is already there with their camera on. They wave hi, you wave back. The whole thing is a conversation, not an interrogation.
"Where are you calling from? What are you up to today? What made you sign up?" The Guardian is checking that you're present, conscious, and not a recording. Most fakes fail here.
Driver license, passport, national ID, anything official. The Guardian looks at it briefly and confirms the photo is you. They don't screenshot it. They don't save it. They don't type the number into a system.
It appears in your dashboard before the call ends. A permanent, sequential number that's yours. You wave goodbye. The whole exchange is human, the whole way through.
